Carolina Allergies

So Bo and I have been in the states since Sept. 11 and had both forgotten how much the Carolina Crude could affect you. I have severe allergy issues today. Bo and I will be spending some much needed fellowship with our close friends Brian, Keri and new edition Kenly Ronk. The Ronk family was/is a great staple in our Christian walk while living in the states. Keri has always been a great accountability partner for me and I am so lucky to call her a close friend. Our husbands first bonded over their God given gift for playing music. During our time in New Bern, both Brian and Bo openly discussed their hopes, dreams and fears of being a Godly husband and man. It was wonderful to have the Ronks to help Bo and I walk down the Christian path. We know that God has brought us home for more than just to spend time with family, friends and a baby shower. God brought us home to remind us of where we were and where we need to be. The Christian walk is very hard to walk without a great support system such as a local church. Bo and I have been unable to find where we feel God wants us to be, while being stationed in Italy. We are hoping that a new preacher at the chapel on base will help revitalize our Christian walk and help ignite the fire that is burning in our hearts.

Daddy felt Noah! 1st time!

So today, Bo felt Noah for the very first time! I am so excited for him. Everytime I tell Bo that Noah is moving, he goes to put his hand on my tummy and Noah either moves or stops kicking. I wish I could have taken a picture of his face. I loved seeing his reaction to the "I think I feel it" look. Everyday I feel Noah get stronger and stronger. We feel so blessed that God has given Noah to us!

E-City Baby Shower

On Saturday September 19, 2009 My mom and sister gave me a baby shower. Bo and I's Aunt Tammy helped as well. We had over 20 of our closet friends and families. It was so nice to have all of them come and celebrate this extraordinary moment with us. Even though I registered for certain things and was convinced they were needed, so many of the guest bought Noah things that I hadn't even thought of. Guess they know better than me. All of our family members have been so kind and supportive and we are truly blessed and lucky to have them in our lives.

Beach Fun

Since I am new to blogging, I find myself doing this a little backwards but I will get the hang of this. The first full week home we went to the beach with my family. We had an absolute ball. Noah enjoyed fishing and "we" caught the only fish. Bo had such a great time with my dad. My dad took Bo night fishing which he had never done before. Daddy also tried to teach Bo how to cast a net for finger mullet and was unable to get the concept of it. Dad had a great time, showing Bo how to clam. There are certain techniques to clamming and Bo developed his own. I loved watching these two men that I love more than anything in the world learn from one another. My Mom and Dad had a great time fishing and spending real quality time with us. These are a few pics from our Beach fun

Baby- Boy

Today we had our 20 week ultrasound. Now call it women's intuition or I just knew what was happening, but at today's ultrasound appointment I knew that we were further than what Dr. Allen thought. Dr. Allen had me down at 18 weeks and 6 days. I knew from charting about how far along I should be. I was proven correct when Noah!!! measured 19 weeks and 6 days. We also found out that Baby Wolf is a BOY!!! Hence, baby Noah! It was such a wonderful feeling being able to share that moment with Bo, and I know he feels the same way. Thanks to God, Noah seemed as healthy as the ultrasound could show, which is a blessing in itself. We're so happy and thankful that so far, Noah is a happy, healthy baby boy.
